What Do We Believe ? 

 

We believe . . .

. . . In One God who is Creator of all that is;

. . . In Jesus Christ, God's only Son, who was born fully a human, yet retained all divinity; who ministered to all who would come to him, suffered, died, rose from the dead and returned to heaven as prophesied in Scripture; he will come in the end time to judge all people;

. . . In God the Holy Spirit who was given to inspire and guide Christ's church until he comes again in glory; 

. . . In the communion of all the faithful (a.k.a., the saints) in this life and in the everlasting life who seek to bring God's love and peace through prayer and action;

. . . We are one, holy, catholic and apostolic church which has continued to persevere in and preserve the faith given by Jesus the Christ and handed down through the laying on of hands and proclamcation of the Gospel  and celebration of the sacraments;

. . . God has spoken to all people through his inerrant and inspired word as recorded in the Holy Scriptures, and God's message today is as vibrant and meaningful as when that Word was first spoken;

. . . In Seven Sacraments instituted by Jesus according to the Scriptures to bless his believers and to be a source of God's manifold blessings and grace which nurture our bodies and souls to prepare us to be received into the Kingdom of God.
